The arts are a vital part of every community and at Socorro County Arts, we have been working for more than a decade to ensure Socorro, NM, is bursting with the beauty of local artists’ hard work. We are a group working together to promote the arts and artists in Socorro County. The goal is to promote all artists (performance artists, visual artists, fiber artists, sculptors, jewelers, fine crafters, etc.)
Socorro County Arts offers free workshops, Annual Spring Open House, and Festival of the Cranes Arts and Crafts Fair. These events are co-sponsored by the City of Socorro. The arts group also manages the Alamo Gallery and Gifts that shows works from local artists and artists from the Alamo Chapter of the Navajo Nation.
Our gallery features stunning creations perfect for any occasion and is friendly for all ages to visit and get involved.
